Dhootpapeshwar- Ashoka rishta is an Ayurvedic medicine. It is extensively used in Ayurvedic treatment of bleeding,bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, fever,gynecological complaints,heavy menstrual bleeding,inflammation, indigestion, Katishoola, menstrual irregularities, Raktarsha, Raktapitta, lack of taste,and Udarshoola,
It contains 5 to10 % of self generated alcohol, which acts as medium for herbal active principles
This is also called as Asokarishtam. Ashokarishta Traditional uses
Useful in Garbhashaya Shaithilya and disorders developed due to other abnormalities in reproductive system being Garbhashaya Balya. Controls excessive bleeding in Atyartava.

Dose
5 to 10 ml, once or twice a day, after food or as directed by your doctor. Those with irritation in the stomach can take this with equal quantity of water.
It can be taken with Pravala Bhasma.
Side effects
If consumed for wrong complaints, as mentioned above, it may cause prolonged menstrual cycles, delayed periods
Pregnancy and lactation During pregnancy, it is best to avoid this / take this only under medical supervision.
During lactation period, it can be taken in lower doses, based on doctors advice
