Keshav Srushti is a movement for innovative and versatile educational, irrigational and social projects aimed at creating socially conscious leaders and dedicated citizens of the country. Keshav Srushti is a tribute to the memory of one of the greatest Indian visionaries of the 20th century, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar- founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), dedicated to the service of the nation.
Over the last 25 years, Keshav Srushti has grown in leaps and bounds and now has six independent institutions under its aegis, providing integrated development in versatile fields.
Keshavsrushti Vanaushadhi
The vanaushadhi trust has been doing some commendable work in the field of Indian ayurved and herbal medicines. There are nearly 500 herbal plants within the large campus of Keshav Srushti, some of them being rare species. The herbarium takes care of classifying and storing the data about these herbal plants. This herbarium and the data it has, is being used for study and research by the trust and is also made available to Ayurved and Botany students who visit the laboratory on study tours.
Uttan Krushi Sanshodhan Sanstha
Aims & Objectives of Uttan Krushi Sanshodhan Sanstha is to research and to experiment in agriculture, irrigation, organic fertilizers, vermiculture, natural pesticides, fruits and vegetable production and processing, nursery management, apiculture (e.g. honeybee farming), cattle farming etc., by applying traditional and proven as well as modern techniques and methods to improve sustainable qualitative productivity, which would be beneficial to entire society. It also helps the individuals or Institutes, engaged in same projects, activities.
UKSS also aims to educate and enlighten the farmers in respect of agriculture and allied activities and to make them self-reliant.
